We are licensed as a consumer collection agency with the state of Florida, located in the city of Deerfield Beach in Broward County.  We are an A Rated member of the Better Busines Bureau Southeast Florida Region (see below).

Our staff applies 25 years of sales, marketing, customer service, and collection experience to our performance and communication with clients and debtors.  Our company policy of "No Collection - No Fee" requires that we take collections very seriously and we believe that collections are and should be our primary focus.  We operate strictly in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act and conduct our business with clients and debtors with the highest level of professionalism.

We realize that today's slow-paying customer can often be converted into tomorrow's good-paying customer which is why we proceed with collections attempting to protect the business relationship between our clients and their customers.

General Collection Procedure . . .

Once we receive a debtor placement all information submitted is verified and a debtor account is established in our main database.  First contact is initiated within 48 hours and our efforts continue through a series of impact letters and timely phone contacts until the account is resolved by either a payment in full, a payment arrangement, a client-approved settlement, or credit bureau reporting.  We continue to send letters at least quarterly even after credit reporting, encouraging the debtors to resolve their balance and improve their credit rating.

What to Expect . . .

Some debts are collected after the first contact with the debtor while others may take up to 2-3 years!  There are debtors who dispute the debt (these situations may require additional documentation from the client upon request).  Some debtors are simply uncooperative which will result in having their account added to their credit file.  This will most likely find the debtor in a situation where they will be required to pay the debt as a contingency for financing when making a major purchase at some point in the future. 

Once an account is forwarded to the credit bureaus it remains in the debtor's file for 7 years from the date of delinquency whether or not the balance is satisfied. 

Often we are able to make verbal contact with debtors in the initial stages of the collection process.  When we speak with them directly we provide them with every option to resolve the balance in full or at least set up a payment arrangement.  In some cases, and only when authorized by the client, the debtor is offered a settlement amount for less than the original amount placed.  Since every debtor is made aware either verbally or in our letters that their cooperation in paying their balance in full or confirming and adhering to a monthly payment arrangement will prevent their account information from being forwarded to the credit bureaus, those debtors who are concerned about their credit rating tend to satisfy the balance owed. 

Client Compensation . . .

Each client receives a monthly Accounts Status Report listing all placements and showing all debtor activity.  Clients also receive a monthly statement showing payments made during the previous month.  Client payments are issued in the month following the statement date showing the posted payment(s).  (If a debtor is remitting monthly payments via a payment plan, the client is compensated for their portion of any payment received as it is posted on the corresponding statement.)  Clients are encouraged to contact us as often as they feel it is necessary to request information or an "on the spot" Accounts Status Report.
